CCRS is a faith-based charity providing professional social care services to children and families of all faiths and of none. We were established in 1886 and have decades of experience of working for and on behalf of children.
As 2008 dawns the Society can look forward to many exciting opportunities as well as the inevitable challenges. Whatever work is accomplished there is always more to do because the need for our services never diminishes, our foster placements and Supporting People units, our Children’s Homes are in great demand while the caseloads of the Family Support team grows ever heaver and we have a lengthy number of adoptive parents awaiting assessment.
This is the work we were founded for, improving the lives of children and their families is our mission and we will continue to do it to the best of our ability.
