Resettlement Service

Each of our Supporting People projects also has a resettlement service based at the site.  The role of the Resettlement Worker is to support the staff team and work alongside the Key Worker to ensure the young woman’s future accommodation needs are met.  The priority need for rehousing is appropriate, sustainable accommodation in an area where the young woman will be safe and have access to local services, e.g. school, health services and other support groups.

The Resettlement Service is funded by Connexions, Youth Service Blackburn with Darwen, the Scott Family Trust, the Cox Family Trust, AGMA, Lloyds TSB and East Bolton Regeneration.  The Service values their support.
