Rescue Family Mass 2009
On Sunday, 27 December Fr Martin Dowd celebrated the Rescue Family Mass at Salford Cathedral. Traditionally this Mass takes place on the Feast of the Holy Family in recognition of the sacred nature of family life and to give thanks for the work of CCRS.
The Mass, which was well attended, was followed by sherry and mince pies and provided an opportunity for past and present supporters of the Society to meet and exchange news.
CCRS faces some significant changes in 2010 and Fr Dowd let the congregation know that the arrangements for next year’s Mass may be different.
